Emotional Learning
Emotional Learning is still under research and development and very unknown for most of people. The goal is to make this information more accessible, explaining it clearly and giving parents the tools neccessary to utilise it. An interactive installation is created alongside promotional items. It seeks the involvement of parents, creating a data visualization from the participation of their children. The design goes beyond communication and becomes a way for children to materialize abstract concepts such as emotions. All the graphic elements are defined by subjectivity, dynamism and abstraction of emotions. Dyed colored sand is the main element, encouraging children to participate and play. The exercise is conducted at schools children in the fourth grade – mostly in their open doors day. There also a degree of collaboration with their teachers’ team, combining design with psychopedagogy.
